Ironwood Consulting built its practice around understanding and protecting sensitive biological resources while helping projects navigate environmental requirements. Its biologists conducted habitat assessments, botanical inventories, vegetation mapping, wetland and jurisdictional delineations, and focused surveys for threatened, endangered, and other special-status plant and wildlife species.

That field expertise extended into biological resource reports, CEQA and NEPA documentation, resource-management plans, federal and California permitting, habitat restoration, mitigation, and construction compliance monitoring. Supported by GIS, GPS, and digital information management, Ironwood connected field observations with the documentation and coordination needed to move projects forward responsibly. That foundation now adds depth to Spheros Environmental’s biological resources, permitting, and implementation capabilities.
