Bo Wilkins leads Spheros Environmental’s Air Quality Practice Area, bringing 14 years of experience spanning public-sector leadership and private-sector consulting. He works with teams across the company to strengthen technical collaboration, support project delivery, and provide practical air quality solutions that help clients navigate complex regulatory and compliance challenges.
Throughout his career, Bo has worked across permitting, regulatory planning, compliance, air monitoring, source testing, business development, and program implementation. Most recently, he served as Air Quality Bureau Chief and State Air Director for the Montana Department of Environmental Quality, where he led statewide air quality programs and represented Montana on air policy matters before the state legislature and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency.
Bo’s approach combines technical expertise with a practical understanding of regulatory processes and stakeholder needs. His experience covers the full breadth of the Clean Air Act, including New Source Review (NSR), Prevention of Significant Deterioration (PSD), Title V permitting, state implementation planning, air dispersion modeling, and greenhouse gas program development. Drawing on leadership roles at both the state and national levels, he is focused on helping teams work collaboratively, deliver high-quality solutions, and support clients with confidence.
